About Us

Tom Kieffer is the President of Lighting Masters. He began his lighting career in 1980 as a sales rep for a GE distributor/wholesaler in St Louis, MO. He has attended the corporate Lighting Centers of GE, Sylvania and Philips for training and education. Tom has completed the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) Lighting Fundamentals Course as well as the NAED (National Association of Electrical Distributors) Electrical Products Education Course – Bronze Level.

Over the years, Tom has gained a vast knowledge of the lighting needs of a variety of clients including churches, schools, office buildings, manufacturing, retail and construction.

In the summer of 2004, a series of events occurred that opened the door for Tom to pursue the dream of owning his own business. After consultation with trusted friends, manufacturers and encouragement from key clients, Lighting Masters, LLC ~ Masters of Business Lighting was born. We officially opened doors in September of 2004.

When mistakes come to our attention, we will take full ownership of them and endeavor to create appropriate rectification and solution as soon as possible. If we ever feel another source can provide a better product or solution than we can, we will be quick to refer the client to that source.

We will pursue excellence as a bare minimum standard to drive every action and step that we take. We will seek out and choose to work with employees, installers, contractors and suppliers who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence as well.
